Great Atlas Trek
From Marrakech to the Oasis of Nkob
Your adventure begins in Marrakech.
Your guide will pick you up for a spectacular crossing of the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Enjoy panoramic views of the Berber villages before reaching the Drâa Valley.
The day ends in Nkob, an oasis nestled in the heart of the mountains,
Dinner and night in gîte (traditionnal Lodges)

Trek in the heart of Jbel Saghro
- Day 2: Nkob – Bab-n-Ali Your trek officially begins. After loading your luggage onto the mules, you will walk for approximately 6.5 hours. Your camp will be set up at the foot of the impressive Bab-n-Ali peaks.
- Day 3: Bab-n-Ali – Ighazzoun You will cross a unique mountain landscape to reach Ighazzoun. After 6 hours of walking, you will camp near a river for a well-deserved evening of relaxation.
- Day 4: Ighazzoun – Handor Walk up to the Tizi Olhyan pass, then descend into the Tifdassine Valley. You’ll pass through charming Berber villages before arriving in Handor, an oasis surrounded by a lush palm grove.
Return to Marrakech
After a final breakfast surrounded by palm trees, you’ll begin your last day of hiking before hitting the road for Marrakech.
You will pass through Ouarzazate, the « Gateway to the Desert, » where you’ll have lunch and visit the city’s iconic sites. The journey will conclude with another crossing of the High Atlas Mountains, bringing you back to your hotel or the airport.
